Check&Get is handy and powerful bookmark manager and web monitoring program that lets you check your favorite Internet pages and detect if their content has changed or has become unavailable. It can notify you of changes or web-server downtime by bookmark highlighting, by pop-up message, by playing a sound file or by sending you e-mail message with the updated web page. It can even download the updated file from the Internet and save it to the specified folder on your hard disk.

Reviewing 3.2.1.465 (Jan 31, 2007)
The new version (v3.2) is very good. I love the new "web-filtering" feature - it allows to select the part of web-page in Check&Get's browser and ignore it. I.e. partially monitor the web-pages and ignore stuff like the advertisements. Very good and easy to use. Good job.
Reviewing 2.3 Release 1 Build 365 (Apr 21, 2005)
I found Check&Get on fileforum after wondering if someone had managed to come up with an easier way of checking all my bookmarks. For anyone on broadband this program is absolutely great, in just a few moments I have hundreds of bookmarks checked for me, it's such a time saver! And I like that this software is periodically updated with the new features. Just downloading the v2.3.1 - looking forward to test the new features...
Reviewing 2.2 Release 1 Build 319 (Sep 25, 2004)
I am a researcher and my business depends on literally tracking thousands of website links. This is the absolute "Best of everything" links manager on the market by far. Check&Get performs like an autopilot saving hours if not days of work. Finding a tool like yours is like winning the lottery. Check&Get is the leader for link management, Keep up the excellent work!
Reviewing 1.12 Build 109/U (Dec 6, 2001)
Very good idea. Unfortunatly it doesnt seem to work very well..
Some links come up as "error 404 page not found". Which is clearly a mistake (since they do exist).
Also the checking algorithms need some work. FileForum was listed as "incompatible" as were others...
Needs to be more configurable too..
Hopefully it will develop into a nice prog, but for now powermarks still works better for me.
