Eeebuntu is a fully customized, out-of-the-box Linux for your EeePC.

Eeebuntu Base is the smallest, lightest and most stripped down of the three ISO's. Apart from Gnome and its usual configuration applications, Firefox, restricted extras and the Eeeconfigure application, there's little else, which means it's up to you to add as few or as many as you need.

    Superb performance on my eepc asus 900a compared to Ubuntu Netbook Remix (which was sluggish and slow but more visually and user appealing). This is a much better linux alternative to the Xandros which i felt was fairly lack luster in comparison (Though Xandros did run very well). I'd recommend this for the linux prefered user. Best Linux distro i've tested to date. Esp for older netbooks on slower cpus.

    Not bad! Nothing will ever beat Windows XP/7 if you use a lot of apps or games though.
