Publisher's Description

File Association Fixer will simply identify the type of file and fix file type associations. A corrupted Registry, caused either by a bad software or malware or any other reason, can lead to your Windows being unable to open a particular file type. If you find that you are unable to open particular files, identify the type of file and use File Association Fixer to fix file type associations easily, with a click! File Association Fixer detects whether you have Windows 7 or Windows Vista installed and accordingly offers you the relevant fixes only. To fix the association for a particular file type simply click on the file type association icon or name. You may have to reboot.

What a nice idea, yet what a stupid way to bring it to life!
Show me a list of extensions and let me choose, then import/export rules for next time. Otherwise windows has such a thing already, only no import/export.

So for now.. Fail!

The program changes the file association without giving any indication of the change that it is going to make.

Although it is designed for Vista and Windows 7 it also runs on XP and there is no indication when running it that it is only intended for Vista or Windows 7.

Nice litle program. No install, single EXE, just the way I like. Works with Windows 7.
