Find and Run Robot is a program for keyboard maniacs - it helps you rapidly find programs or documents from within the depths of the start menu (or other directories). One keypress launches the utility - then just start typing the first letters of the application you want to launch. As you type the best matches are shown - just hit the number to launch the associated program.

• [bug fix] showmemo command now properly converts multiple \n when displaying in text memo results
• Added showfile command to show contents of a file into text memo results
• [bug fix] All keyword modifiers are now forced to lowercase since mixed case resulted in failure to match when searching
• You can now use PgUp, PgDn, ArrowUp, ArrowDn to scroll result memo view
• [bug fix] Using dashes in search should work now as long as it isn't of the form [SPACE]-WORD which will be treated like a work to exclude from search
• [bug fix] Virtual folder replacements now intelligently handle \ directory separators, so you can write for example %FARRDIR%\scripts or %FARRDIR%scripts. This bug fix also fixes the case where cpanel items were shown twice
• Added check-for-updates to plugin manager form
• Added option to stop search on regex match, and default stop search on exact alias name match to false
• [bug fix] alias files were sometimes getting extraneous fields saved in them
• Added option to disable the +action modifier result replacement, where when there is only 1 result and you use a +action modifier, the result shows the action modifier text instead of the normal result text
• A dosearch virtual launch string that is blank will now show history of past launched files
• [bug fix] Double quotes were being lost on url searching

I really dislike having to register programs to get a key if they are free. If the developers of the program need money, they can have a link in the program menus or something for people to donate. Having to register and get an e-mail with a key in it is a real pain. Other than that, the actual program is good.

I try to avoid posting here because i don't think this is meant to be a discussion forum, but i need to reply and don't know any other way to contact you. Quick point 1, i consider zaine ridling a good friend, but i don't have any say over what he posts here or anywhere and his opinions are his own. Quick point 2, i personally respect that you don't like the approach we have taken. I've written up a long article about the decisions and philosophy of the site and it's on our site for anyone who is curious or wants to learn more. Quick point 3, i don't remember any email from you. i don't send out any license keys that last for a year, i don't think i know how, unless something went wrong. the normal way of getting a free key is to sign up at our forum and get sent a 6 month key after which you can come back and get another and then a lifetime key. if someone emails me and says they have considered it but decided they will not be donating, or if they email after 1 year of signing up, i send them a lifetime key for all of our programs. my email is mouser@donationcoder.com, i'd appreciate it if you contact me and at least let me figure out what you are talking about when you say you emailed and got a 1yr key. -mouser ps. FileForum please make a way for authors to respond to posts here without having to rate our own software which feels wrong.

[To m0user, who is not the dev]: Your schtick is tired and lame. It's donationware; it's been explained a 100 times here; the author will give you a free key if you email him and you're too cheap to donate even $1 lousy dollar. He's not asking to get rich, just wants to keep programming. And dude, the boy can CODE. So take it somewhere else. We're tired of you same ol' b.i.t.c.h.i.n. here.

The nagware for this program does NOT bother me MAINLY BECAUSE of the prolific amount of apps produced.. heck, if all authors did that, this'd be a great world.
