Not bad for a video player, downloads videos transparently. My main qualm is that it uses a new extension... QVI... so the videos are tied to Google Video Player. It's easily solved by feeding them into your favorite AVI muncher, but still... The default video location is in a Google Videos folder under your Documents. You can change this from the preferences, for example I keep all my perfectly legal (>__>) videos in D:\Videos, so I just set Google Video Player to dump it's stuff in a subdirectory off of that.

I don't think it's amazing, but I guess it does what it's designed for. I'm not sure where all the video is that's in this format. In fact, I don't recall even NEEDING yet another video player. But I'll guess I'll leave it on for now. Googles starting to rack up a collection of software associated with it. I think they should put their clout behind one of the Linux distros and come out with an alternative to Windows (or Mac OS X if you're up to date and know there's ways to install it on a PC now). How about "Googlix" or "Loogle", uh, well you get the point.
