Linux Reader is a new easy way to do this. This program plays the role of a bridge between your Windows and Ext2/Ext3 Linux file systems. This easy-to-use tool runs under Windows and allows you to browse Ext2/Ext3 Linux file systems and extract files from there.
- Easy explorer look like interface
- Supported file systems: Ext2, Ext3
- Supported files of any size
- Recovered files can be saved on any (including network) disks visible to the host operating system
Reviewing 2.2 (Sep 16, 2009)
It does what it says it does but it's too limited as it won't manage ext4 file systems and Ubuntu (and other distros) are already moving towards ext4 releases...Karmik will use ext4 and jaunty can be configured to use it.
