Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2007 lets you view full-featured presentations created in PowerPoint 97 and later versions. This viewer also supports opening password-protected Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. You can view and print presentations, but you cannot edit them in the PowerPoint Viewer 2007.

    Just one question: Why is the PowerPoint 2007 viewer about 13.8 times as big as the PowerPoint 2003 viewer? (Comparing the files sizes of the installation packages.)
    The setup process and the functionality are the same, just that the 2007 viewer can display PowerPoint 2007 files which the 2003 viewer probably can't.

    What's in the additional 24 MB? Is PowerPoint 2007 itself included? How nice of Microsoft that would be.

    It works exactly as specified. Installation went smoothly and quicker than the 97 viewer. A word of caution, as specified on Microsoft’s website this version does not support Powerpoint 95 presentations.
