Norman Malware Cleaner is a Norman program utility that may be used to detect and remove specific malicious software (malware). Note that it should not be used as a substitute for running normal proactive antivirus protection, but rather as a reactive tool to handle systems that are already infected.

The program crashed
but first ...
I have services I do not use disabled... Norman "quarantined" the settings thus enabling these services.
I have used DNS bench to choose 7 best Name servers Norman Malware Cleaner chose to "quarantine" these and would or could not restore them. The quarantine record did however contain the data so I was able to restore them with Regedit.

I would have given this application a higher rating, if it would allow you to select what it deletes. Instead, this program automatically deleted programs/files that it thought was malware on my PC. It will delete what it believes is some type of malware, disregarding any possibility of a FALSE POSITIVE, with no undo function.
