   Update: The Office 2007 Settings Backup Wizard is currently a Professional Edition release and is not longer free to use. However, it will backup and restore all of your Office Suite Application Settings, toolbars and more. It also allows you to selectively choose which settings you want to back up. It's available at http://www.settingsbackup.com

   First, where is the comment I left??? Why was it Deleted???
   
   Also "mdotwills" you glanced @ the comment I left (Which now seems to be deleted), but did not "READ" it. I never said the feature was in 2007, I said:
   
   "If you use any of the Office 2003 Applications still (Which I still use one), there is a feature that any 2003 Package that installs called:
   
   Microsoft Office 2003 Save My Settings Wizard
   
   It works not only with 2003 Apps and Settings, but it also works to this day (6.26.2008) on my 2007 Applications. It creates a single file backup (.OPS File) to a directory of your choosing"

   I am guessing it was deleted because it's a Free Tool that comes with an office package which would make this download un-needed.

   It is still beng tested/patched at this time.
   
   v2.3 is to be released Friday 6/27.
   
   I hope it helps all those XP users who were thrown to the curb with the releases of Office 2007 and Vista.

   The MS link you give is has a footnote from MS that reads:APPLIES TO • Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
   
   Whilst it is your choice to use the Office 2003 Save My Settings Wizard on Office 2007 it is not endorsed by MS. I also tested this method about six months ago and it failed with other major complications - being offered Office 2003 updates whilst running Office 2007! It is possible to Google for other people's examples of this complication.
   
   I try to keep focused that this developer is developing a guaranteed workable solution to backing up Office 2007 especially for us XP users.
   
   Read the TOS to see why your post was delete - clues there I think.

   this is for office 2007, not 2003. 2007 does not have the feature that you are talking about.
   
   this is free software that does not need to be registered in any way in order to be used.
   
   I used this software the other day, it does what it says and works ok.
