Dumped the 2.3 amd for a 3.0 pentium and WOW, I LOVE the gui. Last version crashed but this latest loaded up fine and dng's did not slow it down a bit.
I have zoner photo studio which likes raw images but it is intensive on my 1 gig pentium with an older 6200 card and is not free.

thank you so much for replying .indeed i didnt know what was the problem .
true ,many of us has yet older machines .but its an advantage for a program to work with older machines too .

The program does work on a single core processor. The problem is that your CPU doesn't support the SSE2 vector instruction set, which Scarab Darkroom uses. You probably have an older AMD Athlon. I'll try to add support for these in the near future. But I don't have access to such a machine, so I might need someone's help to test it.
