While I'm not a fan of .NET, some program coming out using the .NET framework are very worthy applications, Paint.NET being one notable. One drawback to this program is that it is using the .NET framework and thus suffers from a bit of a slow start up even on a more recent computer with above average tech specs.

I'm not much into the new MS Ribbon Bar style either, but it seems the author of this program made good use of it. The tabs and buttons corresponding to them are all labeled properly and most commonly needed items are present.

I'm also a stickler for perfection in the graphical output of the interface of a program and this one has some issues. First, many of the images used seem to have been increased in size which makes the images blurry, other images seem to have been reduced in size and also suffer from being blurry. This is annoying and distracting. Along with this the text in the statusbar also suffers from some sort of blur issue which makes it hard to quickly read the text in the status bar.

Other than that, the program does seem to work as intended and I haven't encountered any errors in it yet that might cause you to not want to use the program if you can get over the graphics issues.

In my opinion, you're better off with Notepad and Wordpad at this point of this program's development.

Nice program, but do they really need to have such a large and big dependency?
NO, this is why it gets only one star from me.
Until they make a normal non.NET dependent program, this is bloatware.
    (.NET dependency is a nightmare)

The interface is clean and icons are cute.It save documents in rich text format so also images can be imported from clipboard. My only complaint is about its net framework root.An application like this..is used for a fast annotation.I open it...type quicky..then close. If i want a more feature rich program i use a word processor....but in this case..the startup time is the same of more sophisticated suites so there is no gain in using it.
