    Small footprint !
    Some Fonts in settings.ini file
    wish.....
    Tabs wrap would be nice?
Side Panel & Tabs - Exchange Position?
All floating notes appear on one alt-tab?
Very long notes in floating move up but snap to top?

Nice program - been using it for a few versions. An update is due, though. The ability to save tabs in a project file (instead of the limited export feature) would be helpful and adding notes to checklists will expand it a lot. Finally, some rich formatting options like bold and underline would be cool.

Still, there's nothing better I know of on the market. It's free, light in resources and easy to access. Font sizes can be changed and the checklist/notification features are terrific if you need them.

Oddish, of course you can adjust the font size, both in the tabs and in the text box.

Why are people so quick to judge without even giving the programs a proper chance? If you don't like the program, that's fine, but to give it a bad review without even testing it is just bad manners.

I would've given it a 4, but just the fact that you can't even adjust the completely ridiculous 0.00001 pt font size takes it down two notches.

    Tabbed 'Notepad Replacement' with transparency.

Transparency in Windows, generally, sucks. The tabbed notes concept is very good however.

Controls (like "Exit") in the System Tray -instead of on the app window- is plain inconvenient !

    NoteTab Lite...

    http://www.notetab.com/

...isn't as futuristic looking, but functionally far superior.

This is a really good program, with a good concwpt, but there are several things that would make it better.
My biggest complaint is that there's no option (atleast that I can find) to make it stay under the active window.
Transparency is ok, as is the fact that you can click the sys-tray icon and make it vanish, but the option to have it under everything else would be nice.
Other than that it seems good and functional. I'll definitely use it.

Like no other program I have ever used! So simple yet so useful. This is for people who like to economize their desktop space and make the most out of every pixel. I use it at work and at home. One bad thing - with this new 1.0 version, it forces itself to be wider than it used to. I want it narrower like the .99 version!

PC Rat, you have missunderstood the concept of ShirusuPad totaly. It as absolutely not ment to be a "Notepad replacement", and your comparement with NoteTab... The two programs have nothing in common, and are not ment to be used in the same way. Have you even tried ShirusuPad before writing the review?

As for the controls being placed in the System Tray... Again, you show that you have missunderstood the whole point of this program. You are not supposed to use Exit. All other controls in the System Tray menu, including 'Exit', are those that are supposed to be used rearly.

Please understand that I am not blaming you for giving the program a negative review. I just want to ask you, to get your facts right before making another one.

Good program. I like the easy access and small footprint, and the customizable appearance. I have a couple of wishes that would separate Shiruspad from the pack: It needs an optional sticky search bar at the top of the main window. That way, when you launch the main window, you can just type in a key word and be instantly taken to all occurrences of the keyword. There could be a check box to search the current tab or all tabs. This would make Shiruspad like a "freeform database" if one so wished. It would also make it score 6 points out of 5!

As you may know, the ShirusuPad project has been in a coma for over 6-7 months, but has now waken up. I hope that you could control your withdrawal symptoms. :)

Anyway, the project has moved back to www.shirusupad.tk.

Hope you like the new version, and please, don't hasitate to contact me!

Much better. Fast work!!! As mentioned, fonts now save correctly. It'd be nice if the folder font matched the selected font, or better still, to be able to configure folder font independently. Nonetheless, I think this program qualifies in the "Must Have" category! I'd rate it a 5, but I think there's still a little bit of room for improvement. ;-)

Good work, Thanks! Sorry Daniel, disk access problem was a mistake form me. It´s ok! Now wheel function works and even auto line breaks! Autostart does not work under Win98 yet. An entry should be placed under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run". A movable the window would be cool...

As is my complaint with most programs made by smaller companies, it doesn't support dual-monitors. I have two monitors. My system tray is on the right monitor, but the ShirusuPad shows up on the left monitor. Not too big of a deal since I generally use the shortcut key to make it popup, but it would be nice if it showed up on the same monitor as the systray, or at least let you move it around. Perhaps let you move it around and save its location in the settings.ini? Also, the app flickers when it closes. I don't know if this is because it is saving or something but it is rather distracting.. Overall awesome app though. Just deleted a few dozen .txt files because of it.

I like this program! Even added it to my startup. Couple things need improvement though. Can't move the window. Also, it doesn't save changed font size, although it does display it. It'd be nice to be able to blend two colors, for the background, but not really necessary.

Program ShirusuPad, like NotesHolder is very good and useful. Transparency and freeware makes it ok. But still to few functions (no find etx) and to dark tra icon - on dark it is completly invisible. Keep going

I've been observing the development of this program and can honestly say that this version made the program a "can't-live-with-out"-program. Download it and try it!
