    This is an excellent DNS tool for those with a need for a DNS server. It works very well for lookup if you find your ISPs DNS is timing out.

    The price is a bit high however,

    TreeWalk v8 works as a caching DNS and is free if you do not want to host DNS records.

    Users of Simple DNS Plus should definitaly take a look at the free .net wrapper around the HTTP API in Simple DNS Plus. If you're looking to integrate Simple DNS Plus in your own application or website this wrapper is a must!

    As the name implies, this is a very simple to use DNS server. It's ideal for those of us who don't have the time or patience to figure out Microsoft's Windows DNS server. The newest version even has an HTTP administration feature. I registered my copy for my company's web server.
