SmEdit is a compact text editor that packs far more features than its size suggests. Due to its highly configurable design, it can be as basic or as featured as you want. This makes SmEdit an extremely quick loading and flexible editor for most tasks. Features include auto selection of font, text color, background color and word wrap based on the files extension.

Just awful and virtually useless. If you actually use a text editor — and many writers do, not just programmers — then spend the money and get a good one you can customize to how you work, such as EmEditor or UltraEdit:

Why would anyone pay for a 'Notepad Replacement' when there's so many freeware ones available ?
Two examples:
EditPad Lite...

NoteTab Lite (really cool tabbed NotePad Replacement !)...

Only people with more money than brains ~pay~ for what is otherwise free !

They charge for this thing...what a waste of time. Shareware sucks, unless its useful. Theres a million FREE large file editors out there.
