SpywareGuard provides a real-time protection solution against spyware that is a great addition to SpywareBlaster's protection method. An anti-virus program scans files before you open them and prevents execution if a virus is detected - it does the same thing, but for spyware. You can easily have an anti-virus program running alongside SpywareGuard.

    It is indeed an exellent program, but it has not had any definition updates since January. New breeds of spyware and mutations arise everyday just like viruses, so unless the program is frequently updated like SpywareBlaster is, it's not much good. I noticed when I first started using it last year, it was update fairly often, but now it isn't.

    I'm using this program along with Spywareblaster. Since installing these two programs I haven't had any spyware files detected on my computer after browsing by Adaware or Spybot.

    Great concept...I still need to see resource drain. And I do use SpywareBlaster....also a great proggie!

    I use adaware in conjunction with this program. Very good indeed.
