Publisher's Description:

TA Spring is an open source project aiming to create a new RTS (realtime strategy) game. By default there is XTA mod known from Total Annihilation to get something to play with. Plus You can play additional mods like Absolute Annihilation, UberHack, etc. It reads original TA unit formats directly without conversions needed, so 3rd party units work just as well as the original ones. Maps from original TA are not supported.

TA is the best game ever made. Last time I looked at Spring, it was difficult to make work through a restrictive firewall, and I was never able to get it to connect to the lobby. I really should try and play it again. Still have to give it a 5 for: being a TA offspring, and for being open source!

For a open source game, this one has to be one of the best out there. Nice and active community around it and is playable.
