Video DVD Maker is a flexible, easy-to-use DVD maker which is not expanded with value-added extras. Similar to the best DVD authoring software in its class, it allows ordinary users to get high quality outputs, even if they don’t know the subtleties of recording technology. The intuitive interface leads you through a comprehensive set of logical steps to capture and output DVDs.

Well, this statement in the description says it all:
"easy-to-use DVD maker which is _not_ expanded with value-added extras"

As they say "you get what you pay for". This is buggy and slow. It is also a feeble attempt to lure you into buying the Pro version.

Piece of crap. Took over 2 hours on a good system to encode and burn a 56 minute video. Then when I watched it, the screen was cut off and the video and audio were out of sync. It's free, but it sucks.
