WEB-ED is two editors that share the same window but function independently. The program may be easily used for one or both languages. Each editor has its own set of language-specific functions. It is designed to be both simple and multi-functional. The editor window has been kept plain for ease of use, with minimal buttons and toolbars. At the same time, many functions have been incorporated to make the job of code writing easier: a color picker, toggling browser window, debugging, reference, line numbers in the VBS editor, text colorcoding, auto-insertion of code, etc.
