Warden controls access to any Apache-based webpage in three quick steps. It lets you build and manage multiple user accounts, automatically generates .htpasswd and .htaccess files, and uploads them to your server to apply password protection for a given resource (multiple webpages can be protected with different user lists). It can also send email messages to one or all of your users from within the program.

    Nice tool for apache users.
    But it's SHAREWARE !?
    v1.0 was free if i well remember ? but this one ask for a key and will work only for 15 days...

    Also the link to v1.1 seems not good on betanews. Go to warden homepage and scroll down a little to find the v1.1 link.

    An unique idea. Great program. This is great for people who need to manage a lot of user accounst which can't always be done easily using web-based interfaces. Good job.
