Too bad you can't use this program in business environments. That's always been the downfall of this software.

You can disable the Facebook integration.
I've always liked Skype and use it extensively for business. I'm often on it for 4 or 5 hours straight.

I don't see what value Yahoo would have to Apple. I can marginally see it for Microsoft. And, as others have mentioned, I see Microsoft buying Adobe before Apple. RIM in on the way out. Declining users, declining income, decling staff levels.
I could almost see Netflix. Roll it into iTunes.
Symantec has a much bigger Windows customer base than anything as far as software, so I wouldn't see interest there. Especially with Symantec owning Verisign. Apple already has sections in many, if not most, Best Buy stores. No gain there.
I could see them buying a TV manufacturer and coming out with a branded TV, complete with Apple TV built in.

That's a common practice. MS will net FAR more than $250k. It's like a car dealer throwing in floor mats. Microsoft is merely eating part of the migration cost via consulting (MCS hours) and reduced licensing. Both of those are soft costs.

Microsoft has said that it will support non-Microsoft platforms. Hopefully, you'll see be true.

The issues isn't whether YOU can afford to take the test. It's what it costs, as a whole, to create a test and have a testing provider proctor the exam to test takers. If the cost to provide a test costs more money that what it brings in, is that fair to the provider?
