   Review - Foxit Reader

   3.0 Build 1222 (Dec 31, 2008)

   I just downloaded this and although I have only used it twice now it seems to be 100% better than adobe! It took only a couple of minutes to download, compare that to Adobe which takes 30 minutes or more (and I still could not get Adobe 9 to download).
   
   I just give up on Adobe - have Adobe 8 on my computer and it won't uninstall to install version 9. Adobe reader 8 is corrupted and won't open and during 9 partial installation it took off my even older version of Adobe so I couldn't read any of my PDFs anymore. After two days of fiddling with Adobe and starting to pull my hair out, I found Foxit. Never heard of it before but I'm glad I downloaded it.
   
   I do recommend to install this with custom settings and not install all the extras like Ask.com and ebay toolbar. So far I am very happy with this. (I have XP and downloaded on Mozilla)
   
   I would give a rating of 5 but I have only had it for a day. But seems to be 110% better than Adobe.
