  1. Review - Opera for Windows

    11.64 (May 10, 2012)

    Blaxima,
    All the other browsers work unlike Opera which has severe rendering
    issues with many major websites such as Facebook and Google Docs and Microsoft's many websites.

    Print module is still broken, many CAPTCHAS and shopping carts will not work. I have never pushed any one browser as they all have flaws but Opera has more flaws than all the others combined!

    It is YOU are the obvious fanboy.
    It is YOU who offer free word of mouth advertising for Opera.
    You should try getting a life. At the very least, go to Opera's blog and read the many, many problems users have with the stable branch of Opera

  2. Review - OpenOffice.org for Windows

    3.4.0 (May 9, 2012)

    v.3.4.0 installer comes bundled with Java
    unlike the original OOo giving you the option to install without Java.

  5. Review - Opera for Windows

    11.62 (Mar 28, 2012)

    Second rate rendering engine continues to have problems with many major websites displaying all elements.

    Print module is badly broken. Skin is plain ugly. Devs almost never listen to users.

    Opera is a toy for small children.

  6. Comment - Market sell-off slams tech stocks

    It's all George Washington's fault. Ever since he kicked out the Brits it has all been down hill.

    PS. S&P downgrade to US sovereign debt means absolutely nothing. Interests rates have fallen to historical low levels as I write this. US 10 years yields fell to 2.40% meaning the rest of the world continue to buy our debt.

    We are going broke because to 1 Trillion USD spent every year on overseas wars.
    Our economy is heading back into a recession. Bye the bye, Obama has Increased troop deployments by nearly 50% over Bush.

  7. Comment - Sony, Panasonic, Samsung team up to standardize active shutter 3D glasses

    11.62 (Aug 8, 2011 - 12:51 PM)

    Took a buch of kid to see see Tranasformer 3 and Rise of the Planet of the Apes both is "Real 3D" and "Dolby 3D" and "IMAX." I am somewhat stunned how LITTLE progress has been made in this 1950's technology since I was a kid.

    3D = very disappointing.
    BlueRay = fantastic.

  8. Comment - Is Microsoft crazy to put a desktop OS on a tablet?

    11.62 (Aug 3, 2011 - 12:17 PM)

    Studies show that the overwhelming majority of studies are flawed in their methodologies.

    @frankwick, who funded those studies you site?

  9. Comment - I'll tell you something about Windows

    11.62 (Jul 22, 2011 - 2:42 PM)

    "The future of Windows is a utility supporting applications and services that obscure the operating system..." So Joe, you're saying future Windows will be Win-Chromebooks?

  10. Comment - LulzSec outdoes WikiLeaks in stunning disclosure of Arizona documents

    11.62 (Jun 24, 2011 - 3:48 PM)

    Terrorists wish to force governments and others to change policies they don't approve of and use attacks to generate panic amongst civilian populations in hope they will apply pressure to their governments. Al Qaeda does this. So does LulzSec. No doubt the people _ I mean terrorists _ of Egypt, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Syria, Italy and the US state of Michigan and Ohio should all be put to death for forcing change in their respective Govt.
