2.0.0 Beta 2 (Mar 25, 2006)
The best multimessenger out there still.
It got a bit more than only the essentials wich makes it a worty competitor!
It is fast and slick. Tho this is a beta version it has atleast for me worked like a charm.
No problems with anything, perhaps just my luck.
If you really are interested in Gaim you got to try it out, if these so called bugs appears for you as mentioned earlier, id suggest you try and older version.
3.7.0.24 (Mar 25, 2006)
Very nice FTPd to start of with, easy to use and got some support for third party versatility.
I started with this FTPd and i learned alot from it,tho this was some time ago and now i tried the shareware to check the current progress.
But for the high price when there are other alternatives and some with larger area of usability and more advanced learning curve, i dont see the price worth it.
Now now, dont come with arguments on that, there are far more better FTPd's that is GPL'ed.
Summary:
Nice FTPd for win32, easy to use.
Lacking support for more advanced functions.
All in all, a good alternative cept the price!
2.4.2600 (Mar 25, 2006)
After using Raiden before and saw it potential i must again (first time here) verify that Raiden is one if not the only FTPd for win32 that got the most versatility around!
It can use any programming language as long as you got an interpreter, if you want php support then just dload php for win32 and your raiden got support for that, all this goes for all the other programming languages out there!
If that is not versatile ? then wat's not?
Areas of usage is unlimited, altho i must say one bad thing about Raiden, it is not just point and click to add these awesome scripting abilities to raiden, you really got to read the readme's and configure most scripts yourself without GUI.
I dont see it as a problem because if all the script contributors added GUI's for their scripts and Raiden team added some GUI for those scripts i.e script handle, you would have an entire ocean of buttons and settings to fiddle with. More than anyother FTPd, cept some linux based ones.
Summary:
Most versatile FTPd for win32.
What it lacks in GUI it makes up for script support and functionality and a wide area usage!
