  1. Review - McAfee VirusScan for Windows

    11 (Nov 25, 2008)

Not sure why VirusScan 11 is suddenly appearing here as it is basically obsolete.

  2. Review - Trojan Remover

    6.5.4 (Dec 6, 2006)

I've been using Trojan Remover for a number of years and can only say that it is an excellent product.
It bridges that gap between anti-spyware amd anti-virus applications, neither of which catch many trojans.

Meanwhile I have it on authority that Apple has repeatedly refused offers from McAfee and Norton to provide integrated security software as it would be seen to dent their image.

Then they turn around and refuse to let Flash anywhere near their appliances.

Apple - grow up for goodness' sake.

  4. Comment - EC's Kroes to US senators: Mind your own business on Oracle + Sun

Looey and markrw - why do you equate universal health care with "dumb arse socialism" ?

Most of developed nations already have it, so why shouldn't the US of A?

If you are so worried that the fifth column is taking over, then you should do away with free schooling and public libraries perhaps...to mention but a couple of the many already "free" services you and your families enjoy.

  5. Comment - AT&T: Google is an evil empire that must be stopped

    6.5.4 (Oct 16, 2009 - 6:41 AM)

Farcical. This is a clear case of the pot calling the kettle black, as my Granny used to say.

AT & T were portrayed, not so long ago, as the octopus who swallowed the world.

  6. Comment - China to begin reviewing all song lyrics for 'inappropriate' content

    6.5.4 (Sep 13, 2009 - 10:46 AM)

Whenever I read something like this I really wonder about the Chinese Government (& I suppose many others too) and their priorities considering the huge amount of spam that spews from their country every second.

  7. Comment - Earth to Europe: You won. Microsoft complied. Live with it.

    6.5.4 (Jun 13, 2009 - 12:14 PM)

    Very well said.
