  1. Review - ACAPtxfr

    1.0 Beta 4 (Jan 16, 2004)

This one has come a long way, and looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty good option for a download manager. It's small, fast, and easy. More browser integration would be nice (I use Opera 7.5) but there is time yet for all of that to be implemented. 4 stars.

  2. Review - BootSkin

    1.0 RC2 (Jan 10, 2004)

This is an excellent free program that does exactly as advertised, and safely, too. No more registry hacking. Yay. This proggy rocks, and I give it five stars without reservation.

  3. Review - Yahoo! Messenger for Windows

    5.6.0.1358 (Jan 8, 2004)

Mikee4Fun, I think the point is for a small program like this to work without having to buy additional memory, go to a command prompt, or download additional software such as y!pipe. If it requires ANY of the above, I consider the software to be a failure. Noobs are allowed to use programs too, and should have the ability to. There's no reason for it to be so buggy, and there is no reason for it to be such a hog. That's just simple fact. Defend it and give it five stars if you want to, but for me it's just a 2/5.

  4. Review - SharpMT

    2.1 Beta 1 (Jan 3, 2004)

This is an excellent proggy, no doubt about it. The use is for all the bloggers out there that use Moveable Type, which is numbered in the tens of thousands last I checked. Major installation base potentially. I would recommend this to others. Very well done.

  5. Review - MoodBook

    1.00 RC (Jan 3, 2004)

Freeware until you want more than one image. This is really about as useless as it can get, I have to say. I just really don't see a point to this. The images are less than stellar, and I can always download wallpapers for free. So once again, we're left with the single question...Why?
