15.0.0.122 RC5 (Feb 4, 2011)
Version 15 (and version 14.0 and 14.5) are certainly a fry cry from the Norton Utilities that I used for many years. This new version has some very good features which set it apart from the last two versions and Symantec was good enough to "restore' Speeddisk, Norton Disk Doctor, and Unerase. I tried this version for about a month and grew to like it a lot. It does what it says it will do. And my pc certainly did see a significant speed increase and boot-up time decrease. I am giving it 4 stars out of 5 for I feel that if Symantec could bring back a few of the key features from previous versions, they can bring back some more of the others.

I installed SP3 on both my desktop and laptop and had no problems at all. However, I "lost" the address toolbar on both of my computers. I'm not happy about that at all. It also takes longer to boot up now.

I agree with DudeBoyz. To fire and replace valuable employees ONLY because they were making too much money is the epitome of corporate greed. Why not fire upper management for making too much money? I too have no sympathy for Circuit City. They brought this on themselves and it is well deserved. I do feel badly for the innocents who do work there trying to make a living in the stores though. I hope they will be able to find new and better jobs. I suggest that everyone from here on boycotts Circuit City.

What good does it do to post any profit when it is at the expenses of their most valuable assets - their employees? Since Circuit City decide to fire any employee making more than $10.00 per hour, and then rehire them weeks later for much less money, I refuse to purchase anything from them. Their actions were deplorable! Frankly, I hope they go under. I urge everyone to boycott Circuit City.
