  1. Review - BIOS Agent

    3.60 (Oct 11, 2006)

The program started, but when I tried to retrive the data, it crashed.. Not sure why?

Nice effort, wish I could see the results ;)

  2. Review - Winamp 5 Full

    5.25 Build 868 Beta (Sep 19, 2006)

I have been a big fan of winamp for many years, but lately I have been trying to pull away from it. I feel it got way too bloated after AOHell bought it. I also get random issues when staring it from my quicklauch bar, that says "No disk available" Abort, Retry, Continue. It is quite annoying, and I have seen it continue for many builds.

  3. Review - DC++

    0.670 Beta (Feb 6, 2005)

I love(d) this program, was by far one of the best ive used for file sharing, but DC++ is a deathtrap for copyright people. (I recieved an email about being reported to my ISP before all of the lawsuits started, from using this program)

    Im afraid of it now.

  4. Review - Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)

    Technical Preview (Mar 20, 2004)

Not a bad service pack I guess.. Its nothing really of interest to me since I use third party firewall and antivirus programs. Plus ive found a few bugs in the internet explorer so far.. And programs have decided not to be compatible as well..

    Nonetheless, not bad..

  5. Review - AMD Catalyst Drivers for Windows

    3.10 (Dec 18, 2003)

Ive always been a fan of this program, at least compared to others of its kind, such as windowblinds other xp visual programs. This one, for me, works best with games, and doesnt seem to use too many system resources. The latest changes they have decided to make have been in my favor. I like the icons, and the new themes. Good job, gets a 5 for me.

  6. Comment - Sprint loses class action suit in battle over early termination fees

    3.10 (Jul 29, 2008 - 9:53 PM)

I have the same phone from Alltel (LG Scoop). It isnt a great phone, as I have only had it for a few months and most of the keys are worn out. I dont do as much texting as most would think for that to happen. They are very cheaply made phones.. :(

  7. Comment - Nokia Unveils New Multimedia Phones

my company produces the chips for this new line of phones. They are still in VERY early development. I am glad to see they are making a move with it though.. That means I still have a job! :)

  8. Comment - Sources: Intel Layoffs May Be Imminent

    3.10 (Sep 5, 2006 - 1:46 PM)

All semiconductor companies are in a rut right now. I work for a competing company, ST Microelectronics, and they are also cutting back on hiring and vacation time for all of its employees. Not an unlikely thing to happen to this industry.

  9. Comment - Human Bird Flu Detection on a Chip

    3.10 (Jan 21, 2006 - 7:03 AM)

I do backend testing in Phoenix, Arizona, we test the chips to make sure they work properly before they go out and are sold to the consumer(s).

The company manages to profit in the billions each year.. They have a pretty broad market for products.

Interesting to know.. I work for the company in the North Americas.. Always interesting to see them in the news.
