I agree there. For server and critical system components of a network, Linux is unsurpassed. For the home user...
can you really imagine an 80 year first time user using Red Hat? Thought not. XP is user-friendly for that sort of thing.

I need to back the hell off because I told you that your insults are not welcome here? WOW. Thanks. You just proved my point and made my day.

    In other news....
I agree with the previous post (I can't remember who posted because I can't see the name. Sorry). But still, there are other options out there. Windows made its name because it was made for the commoner (IE a person who knows little about a computer). Now most of us do know how to use linux, unix, BeOS, and the like, but it's not what the average Joe knows. At least Windows is taking a step in the right direction. I hope it pays off...

Honestly, if you're here to insult, do it on a board like the CS boards. This is for high level discussions of what people have on their minds about hardware, software or the computer world in general. Calling people OR their opinions "trolls" shows that you still haven't moved out of your mindset of being a kid. When you do, post again. Otherwise, leave us intelligent peoples and go back to your swamp infested mindset.
Yes, I know I just insulted you. I know that's hypocritical. But I've never been known not to be. ;)
