  1. Review - XMPlay

    2.4a (Jul 28, 2002)

It's small, feature packed, and just plain sounds terrific! The author manged to put in very useful features while maintaining a small footprint in both size and system resource usage. Well done. It's free, not to have this is just palin wrong!

  2. Review - PopUp Ad SmasheR

    2.9.15 (Jul 17, 2002)

Best utility of its kind, IMHO. Well worth a trial. I registered it after a couple of hours of testing.

  3. Review - PopupDummy!

    2.4 (Apr 22, 2002)

This is the only utility of its kind that stopped every kind of popup add that it encountered while extensively net surfing. This includes the Flash adds that seem to be all over the net. Well worth a look if not purchasing.

  4. Review - Sound Blaster Live! Driver for Windows 2000/XP

    5.12.01.3520 (Mar 3, 2002)

This is a superb piece of software. One of the most useful utilities I've ever used. Just set FinePrint as your default printer, and you're good to go. I wish all shareware were written and supported this well .

  5. Review - KMCS Deluxe System Suite

    4.5 (Feb 12, 2002)

Why a "5"? Because it does more than just compress the registry. It also cleans invalid entries other utilities can't find. A well thought out piece of software that does what it does very well.

My bet would be yes. Those of us that used Dr. Solomon's AntiViral Toolkit still remember the shock and yes, horror we felt upon finding out that NAI/McAfee had purchased this very fine anti-virus company. It was incorporated into that bloated pig of an anti-virus program VirusScan, and you know the rest. NeoWorx produced intersting programs that certainly had the potential to make a wave or two in this market. Sadness prevails again.
