It does work and it does connect! Did you read the website Beta page? This beta is on a seperate network so there would be few connected peers to start with.

It does pretty much everything!
One feature I would like to see is the abiitly to manage an Exchange organisation (or at least to view it)
To take it a stage further, drop down boxes for some of the user details to limit choices (user definable). Would make it best thing ever... but it does the job for me

IM features were in Exchange 2000. But hey have now been removed and are set to be in Greenwich.
