I don't understand the reason for thie high ratings on this. Yes the antivirus is ok, but this thing is bloated with ads, and ALWAYS trying to get you to buy the stupid program. It also tries to trick you into installing a google bar, and set chrome as your default browser, and its not just during the install, its after EVERY program update. I wouldn't be surprised if this is loaded with spyware also.
Microsoft Security Essentials (or the one built into Windows 8) works much better, with no ads or any of the other crap).
6.2.5 (Jan 9, 2013)
This has to be the most user UNfriendly piece of software I have ever tried. Good luck trying to figure out how to work this thing.
2012.2.11 (Dec 4, 2012)
Gets a 1 star from me due to the fact of it trying to force you to install a bunch of bloatware spam.
They make the text super tiny so you can hardly read it during the install, and there are a ton of things it wants to install besides the program itself.
Update: after typing this review, I realized thing thing has already installed spam on my computer even though I told it not to during the install. Now I have stupid ads popping on the bottom of my browser windows just viewing the Amazon web page. Stay away from this crap.
1.19.411 (Dec 4, 2012)
Very nice, FREE program. Unlike the ripoff prices some other similar programs charge. Yes it still can use more features, but it gets 5 stars from me for being free.
4.03-1720 Beta (Nov 3, 2012)
Does not even work under Windows 8. It totally locks up the computer.

Its also getting close to the point that these thugs could be labeled terrorists. And I wouldn't be surprised of some of them are by the comments they leave, and all their extortion threats they make to everyone demanding things change to what they want. And I can guarantee you they will make things worse for everyone by what the are doing. Your a fool if you think otherwise.
4.03-1720 Beta (Jul 22, 2011 - 6:04 PM)
BS if they aren't putting everyone at risk with what they are doing. This includes everyone logins and passwords that they illegally stole, and illegally posted online for everyone to download. They also put at risk all the families of the police officers in Arizona who are on the border patrol, and fighting drug lords who could then go after their families. They have committed felonies.
4.03-1720 Beta (Jul 22, 2011 - 5:59 PM)
""These governments and corporations are our enemy,""
-----------------
What a bunch of BS. All you ever hear out of them is how they hack accounts and release all the logins and passwords for regular citizens (hundreds of thousands). Fact is, they screw everyone over, and it has absolutely nothing to do with any anti Government crap. It also has absolutely nothing to do with security, as these same hypocrites had their own website hacked from another group of hackers... proving that apparently lulzsec has poor security of their own.
4.03-1720 Beta (Jul 18, 2011 - 8:37 PM)
You would have to be a complete fool to visit their website. You can bet it will be infected at some point.
And this has absolutely nothing to do with free speech. It has everything to do with cyber criminals and thugs stealing from everyone else.
Its also great that Google stood up to them.
4.03-1720 Beta (Jun 24, 2011 - 6:36 PM)
It just shows what low life scums post on the message boards. Anyone who supports what lulzsec is doing is a pathetic person in life. Just a bunch of little kids using a DDOS attack, and nothing else. They are not true hackers even.
All this is going to force new legislation to rule/control the internet to stop these types of DDOS attacks. We will have less freedom.... all thanks to lulzsec.
The lulzsec leader even threatened to go to the home of any of his members and kill them if they didn't do what he said (according to the chat logs posted by the Guardian news page)... yeah a real classy group of thugs there.
