10.54 Build 3390 Beta (May 12, 2010)
> No separate install just overwritting existing version like the stupid ox.
> No choose menu in setup procedure for upgrade and customizable folder.
Try clicking the Options button. That's what it's for. No obvious improvements over previous builds I've found so far, but nothing missing, either.
10.52 Build 3353 Beta (Apr 14, 2010)
Virtually all the previous betas (and alphas) have been trouble-free on my system, but the last couple of builds have crashed when I carry out simple tasks such as closing a tab. Minus one star for that.
I've also found that it now makes itself my default browser without asking. I prefer to use Firefox as the default, only using Opera for some sites and for testing.
10.50 Build 3186 Pre-Alpha (Jan 4, 2010)
The new build appears to have fixed a couple of problems I reported earlier with right-click options, but most are still greyed out or just don't work.
10.50 Build 3172 Pre-Alpha (Dec 23, 2009)
Several right-click options either don't work or are greyed out for no apparent reason, such as "open in new tab", "copy link address", and so on. It seems faster than the previous build of 10.20 that I was using earlier, and I quite like the new interface.

Still the best archiver around in my opinion. The free programs like 7zip are nowhere near so fully-featured, and, unlike WinZip, you are not asked to pay out for upgrades.

The mind boggles.

Ditto. I use a number of their services including Gmail and have never encountered any problems.

I use Vista at home and XP at work. Of the two I prefer Vista. At first, until I got Vista working they way I wanted it, instead of the way M$ wanted it, I preferred XP, but now Vista runs far better than XP ever did.

"how Microsoft is moving towards standards compliance"
*Moving*, perhaps, although I'm sure reluctantly. The noun used in the article was *lead*, not *move*.

"... buy themselves a few months of extra time to follow Microsoft's lead towards standards compliance."
ROFLOL! When have M$ ever led towards standards compliance?
