    Textpad is easily the best text editor you can use outside of a full IDE. Ultraedit is similar but the textpad evaluation period is infinite and the nag screen is brief. Even worth buying!

Now all we need is individual effects per input channel which don't affect the overall output..

    Mozilla hasn't used a dos/console window for ages - it's a real app with an icon and everything (sometimes). Try the daily builds every now and then, things are really taking shape - it's amazing how much it feels like a proper browser when it stops crashing all the time and the menu items actually do things. I still can't believe that all the dialogs and controls are built using xml/javascript instead of C++
