  1. Review - Norton 360

    3.0.0.61 Beta 1 (Jan 15, 2009)

Unlike the Symantec programs from the past, this one's a keeper!!. It installs quickly, only takes 7% of my resources and keeps my PC perky. Optimizes when needed, the whole nine yards.....

Only the ney sayers from yesteryear could not like this one

  2. Review - Norton Internet Security

    2009 (16.0.0.69) Beta (Jul 16, 2008)

First of all, the description is for NIS2009 and not 2006.
For all the neysayers out there. "Try this" download. Norton have come a long way since the CPU drag from 2002. This software completely installs in under ONE MINUTE!
A really sweet piece of software..

  3. Review - Norton AntiBot (32-bit)

    1.0.2 Beta (Jun 7, 2007)

Finally a program that does not lag your system. No need to run any special scans either like SpyBot and AdWare. Way to go Symantec!

  4. Review - Norton AntiVirus

    2007 Beta (14.2.0.18) (Jan 5, 2007)

What's with all the ney sayers? Just because it cost $20 to renew subscriptions, at least you know it works and you can trust the name Symantec. The 2006/2007 editions have never been better. You honestly think corporations trust AVG and other freebies over Symantec? Get real!
When you want real safe protection? Go with the best. You get what you pay for, and when it comes to security it is worth the bucks....

  5. Review - Norton 360

    1.0 Build 127 Beta (Nov 23, 2006)

Having actually tried Norton 360 I have to say it is one of the easiest programs to use. The computer geek won't be impressed because all the safety runs in the background.
The ability to backup online? How many others offer that. I was able to do a live chat within 2 minutes for help so those that post about poor customer service should try it before complaining or writing about it. This is a major improvement and also fits nicely with Vista....
This is the program you'll want installed for Grandma's computer.

  6. Comment - Netflix users revolt over price increases [poll]

    1.0 Build 127 Beta (Jul 14, 2011 - 9:46 PM)

I think what bothers me most is they've already had ONE increase this year. I took that without question but couple the latest and we're talking 77% increase since I joined Feb 2010.
Streaming would be great but the movies aren't the latest releases like you get with the delivery of DVD to the doorstep.
Really undecided what to do. I can afford the increase but principal has to be good for something.....

  7. Comment - Apple must stop iPad 2 scalpers NOW

    1.0 Build 127 Beta (Mar 20, 2011 - 10:49 PM)

What is wrong with online ordering?. I ordered mine on the 12th. It was inscribed and shipped on the 14th from Shenzhen, China by way of Hong Kong to Anchorage, Alaska to Syracuse, NY and arrived up here another 160miles on the afternoon of the 17th. What's wrong with that? Free shipping and at the advertised price.
I've been playing with mine since St.Patty's Day and couldn't be happier.

  8. Comment - Who bought iPad 2?

    I'm loving it already..

  9. Comment - Who bought iPad 2?

    1.0 Build 127 Beta (Mar 14, 2011 - 7:37 AM)

As I stated before, I ordered my new iPad 2 at 2-3am on the 11th. Just received shipment notice. This sucker is coming to me shipped from Shenzhen, China! If I'd known that I probably would have gone to the local Malmart......

  10. Comment - Did you buy iPad 2?

    1.0 Build 127 Beta (Mar 12, 2011 - 9:04 PM)

I bought my first ipad. I was a big Mac user until windows 98 came out and switched....I couldn't afford all the software upgrades. Everything seemed more expensive on a mac. I don't have an iphone and just now started using itunes. Have a lot to learn again but looking forward to the challenge.
