    Shows promise. Been following it and sodipodi for a while. Still lacks an airbrush tool, which is surprising. Gimp and PS still blow it away (even though PS is not free). Paint.NET doesn't have an airbrush either, and far less in terms of text effects. Gimp is a better deal for pure illustration and photo effects than this however. But hey, it's open source, so it will evolve quickly, right?

    I thought this download was for the free version, but it's only the patch for the full version. I downloaded the free version, played with it for about 30 minutes, and purchased the full version. It's THAT good.

    The last test build (ok, beta) was very nice and very solid. I'm looking forward to this.

    Everyone, please THERE IS NO MORE "CORE" Fedora 7 will just be called "Fedora 7". Trivial, I know, but seems like people are getting bent out of shape over the name change.

    It's an *ok* firewall product. Nothing vastly superior to others in most respects anymore. The biggest difference since 5.5 is indeed becoming more bloated and slower. Version 6 and 7 seem to consume considerable more RAM and CPU cycles than 5.5 did. Not impressed.

    The shareholders will eventually take action on the ongoing mantra of "good enough" to the overall business strategy. Too many bright folks being kept down by internal politics. Too many giving up and leaving also.

    Everyone hates lawyers until they need one. Two-faced crap makes me sick. Same with cops. Everyone complains about them until their life is on the line or something precious is threatened, then they become their best friend. Oh, and the US easily has 3 times the attorneys as the entire EU combined.
