   World class Canadian artists are starting to take on their record labels over DRM and such. Sarah McLaughlin (?), Alanis Morrisette and other big names.
   
   ONLY when the artist start to speak out (over us consumers), will the labels listen. Hugely popular artist like those I named above really have NO NEED for labels anymore... so perhaps the labels will listen because they don't have a strangle hold on those artists like they do on newer bands that are no talent and all record label marketing glitz.
