  1. Review - Babya bCal

    1.0 (Jan 15, 2004)

Considering that Babya means "baby ape," this program is pretty good, considering that it's written by a baby ape... >-D

  2. Comment - Nokia asks employees to lay themselves off

    1.0 (Feb 24, 2009 - 3:40 PM)

Actually, it would be a good situation for those who are lucky enough to know that they'll be in a new job soon.

  3. Comment - Google returns missing open source software to Android Market

    It's iPhone 3G, not G3.

  4. Comment - Peek mobile device set to do e-mail only, for $99 with no contract to sign

    1.0 (Sep 12, 2008 - 1:53 PM)

So for $ 99, however much my voice plan costs, and $ 20/mo, I can have TWO devices in my pocket: One for my phone and another for my email. This is in addition to however much my cell phone costs.

OR for $ 199, however much my voice plan costs, and $ 20/mo, I can have ONE device in my pocket: A BlackBerry Curve (BlackBerry Pearl can be had for $ 99, though). Whichever BlackBerry I pick, I can make phone calls, listen to music, browse the web, do instant messaging *in addition to* doing email.

Just with one Peek, I can tell that the Peek is a stupid idea.

By the way, if you just want email, it's $ 10/mo extra from T-Mobile. The difference in price for the BlackBerry will pay itself off in 10 months.

  5. Comment - Yahoo says DRM issue overblown by media, but will offer refunds

    1.0 (Jul 29, 2008 - 11:43 AM)

I don't think the DRM issue was overblown by the media. It has *consistently* been the case where the paying customer who did the right thing and *purchased* their media were the ones who got screwed. First it was the MLB, then Google Video, MSN Music (PlaysForSure... yeah, right!), and now Yahoo Music.

Those Yahoos had better issue refunds or provide a DRM-free equivalent.

  6. Comment - AP sets up a toll booth for bloggers citing its stories

    1.0 (Jun 17, 2008 - 3:32 PM)

"As few as five words" happens to be five words. Do I need to pay $ 12.50 now?
