  1. Review - NetCaptor

    7.0.2 Beta 1 (Sep 14, 2002)

The best browser upgrade available. Adam busts his a** developing and supporting this program and has saved me a lot of time and money, so I don't mind the $25 reg fee. I would definately recommend it to anyone still connecting at 56k. The URL Blocking and Popup blocking will save a lot of bandwidth wasted by advertisements and background sounds.

  2. Review - Yahoo! Messenger for Windows

    5.5.0.1214 Beta (Jul 31, 2002)

Overall, great, non-annoying program. I'm not a webcam user, but the masses seem to love it. I would like to see them invest more time in developing an efficient, effective Whiteboard addition. Jabber has beat them to the punch on this one, if it ever comes out of beta. As far as interoperability goes, it's not a programming issue, the business people to work it out. They can't just add a hook to MSN or AOL chat services and expect to get away with it!!!!

  3. Review - NoteTab Pro

    4.9 Pre Release (Jun 11, 2002)

Excellent program! Very customizable, solid application. I use CF Studio for HTML and CF, but turn to Notetab for scripting and manipulating huge text files. The only time I have experienced a slightly slow load is when I accidently left a 4 meg XML files open in it with 12 other large text files. My mistake!

  4. Comment - AOL Quietly Posts Version 8.0

    4.9 Pre Release (Oct 12, 2002 - 11:28 PM)

AOL is still bandwidth hog. I don't use it, but my sniffer tells me I'm getting a hell of a lot of bandwidth wasting UDP and TCP/IP port traffic trying hit my machine from AOL Servers.

  5. Comment - LindowsOS 2.0 Released to Insiders

    4.9 Pre Release (Sep 25, 2002 - 11:52 AM)

Sure, I was gonna try using Lindows. Ta hell with it now. This is getting insane. I would love to see their marketing model. Seems like another bloated Dot Com...

I'll just set up my own Linux box and drop Wine on it...

    From the Lindows site:
What do we ask of you?
A $99 membership fee (a great value since you get LindowsOS and TWO years of Click-N-Run, a $228 value!)
Your feedback about our plans, our products and our future direction

Hurry! This special price to become an Insider will be ending soon. Once the General Release is out, pricing for LindowsOS and one year of Click-N-Run will be $129 and the Insider's program will be going to $299.
