Words cant explain how... lame Safari feels.
Both Opera load faster, render faster and does everything more smoothly. Page loading times are not really an issue at all and I feet almost no differce between browsers. Acid test scores mean hardly anything in the real world - Konq scores very well but sucks in real world performance, Safari scores well and sucks at rendering things like blog layout. Pointless from a 'consumer' perspective.
The problem is that Safari just has... nothing. There is no reason to install something that has no features, that has gaping security and a bad user experience. It feels like a step in the wrong direction - its like Apple does IE6.

for those looking for a linkpad like add-on for FireFox (with Netscape going out of existence soon) there is a add on called bookStack that does the same things as link pad.

Promitheas, did you miss the part where "why hello there" said that all versions, including final versions, have worked poorly for him/her?
I know it feels good to be condescending, but being "experienced" has nothing to do with it when one encounters real bugs. Actually, if you test software like this and DON'T find bugs, it shows your own lack of experience.

sandboxie has a free version AND a paid version. The paid version enables a few more features.
Anyways 5 stars for a nice and effective sandbox type application.

Microsoft has sold 88 million licenses of Vista. Microsoft has not revealed how many copies are in use. That number doesn't even tell you how many have been bought by customers or by OEMs.

You think Vista is better than OS X? Obviously you haven't tried it.
Ubuntu is starting to become an option too. Microsoft better shape up!
3.20.01 (Oct 11, 2007 - 6:58 AM)
So the new security feature requires Windows Server 2008?
MS is always trying to sell you something you don't want. It's like buying a TV, and the salesman insists you have to pay extra for the extended warranty.
3.20.01 (Oct 8, 2007 - 12:46 AM)
The movie has been canceled. Peter Jackson's replacement said so.
It might still be resurrected some day, but since the Halo franchise is on its way out, probably not.
3.20.01 (Oct 8, 2007 - 12:43 AM)
That's why they're going to release Windows 7 in 2009. That's going to be soon enough for most people to be able to skip Vista.
