  1. Review - FlashGet

    1.70 (Aug 10, 2005)

It is Freeware now. So Betanews may want to change it. And it no longer contains any Spyware or Ads.

And this makes Flashget the best DM again.

  2. Review - SmartFTP (x86)

    1.1 Build 985 Beta (Mar 9, 2005)

um... It is still free for personal use though.

  3. Review - Easy CD-DA Extractor

    7.7.1 (Jan 11, 2005)

I don't understand why the Review below still withstand?

Window is totally useless because there is Linux?
Nothing is totally useless in this world. And nothing is perfect either.

Easy CD DA does offer Cdex and Exact Audio Copy 's secure error free ( or less error prone ) correction copying. But Out of the 3 Easy CDDA is easily the best UI design by far.

And that is why i use it. Because i like it.
Nope it is not free. But people have different stand on that. Download and try for yourself.

  4. Comment - Thunderbird 6 arrives, but was it too fast?

    7.7.1 (Aug 16, 2011 - 11:22 PM)

And yet no plan to make 2 Line in Message List Column.

  5. Comment - 10 companies Apple could buy right now, with cash

    7.7.1 (Jul 29, 2011 - 11:13 PM)

Sandisk would be a great target, but the problem is NAND only have may be another 5 years life time before moving into something else. Unless Apple knows Sandisk have some sort of Tech work going on to prolong the life of Sandisk, otherwise it wouldn't be worth the risk.

My current favorite is Nintendo. Less then 20B Market Value, even with a 25% premium, which is still 25B. And Nintendo has 15B of cash, which means it only cost Apple 10B. This would give all the classic, and great games on to Apple platform, And it would only take 5 or 6 years for ROI.

  6. Comment - Apple's HTML5 Showcase is rigged

    7.7.1 (Jun 5, 2010 - 1:14 AM)

Thanks for point it out, As i have noticed Betanews, or Joe WilCox to be exact a super ANTI Apple person.

Ask the simple question. When was the last time you saw a Advert that is honest..... This is like Greenpeace attacking Apple even though Dell or HP is worst.

  7. Comment - Apple should sue Gizmodo over stolen iPhone prototype

    7.7.1 (Apr 20, 2010 - 2:33 AM)

I am not a Lawyers, even if i do did law studies, it may be different in the US. After all US laws make some of the funniest case i have ever heard.

Anyway, I just think they should have returned it. And post a rumor stories about about the spec of it ... etc..... To me that would be fine.

Actually show casing a Top Trade Secret to the world is clear wrong doing.

  8. Comment - Google may face legal challenges if it open-sources VP8 codec

    7.7.1 (Apr 15, 2010 - 9:56 PM)

Finally someone one the Internet makes some common sense about Codec. As long as the stupid software patents systems continues, You will never ever get an patent free, and widely used open source advance video codec. ( You could use some old video codec though ) Instead of trying to break the US patent system, ( not saying you cant, ) why not pressure MPEG-LA for more flexible usage of H.264.
