  5. Review - RoboForm

    7.1.8 (Jan 30, 2011)

Long time RoboForm user who switched to LastPass about a month ago. I really don't see much of a difference between the 2 other than one is free and one has an annual fee. I have better things to spend my money on than software that has a free equivalent with basically the same functionality. Why didn't Siber grandfather-in the new licensing model instead of screwing over existing customers? 5 stars for functionality, 1 for company integrity.

  6. Comment - Network admins stunned and reeling from repeated Firefox upgrades

    7.1.8 (Aug 15, 2011 - 2:59 PM)

sounded good until "use a safer browser like Firefox" - don't think that statement is backed by any recent facts.

  7. Comment - Nearly 60% of Netflix customers plan to close their accounts [poll results]

    7.1.8 (Jul 14, 2011 - 6:13 AM)

Wasn't this article already written? do you really need an article on the results of a poll (like we can't scroll down a little and look at the results ourselves in the original article). SLOW news day?

  8. Comment - Netflix users revolt over price increases [poll]

    7.1.8 (Jul 13, 2011 - 3:42 PM)

Though I do agree in principle, DVDs are a long way from "quickly coming to an end". Using VCRs as a comparison is flawed as in the case of the VCR/DVD replacement, it was a matter of exchanging a "box for a box" - not so with streaming. I'm pretty sure a decent percentage of the U.S. population is not even on a broadband connection, let alone the rest of the world. DVDs will be around for a while.

  9. Comment - Netflix users revolt over price increases [poll]

    7.1.8 (Jul 13, 2011 - 1:29 PM)

So for those that only stream or only get the DVD option, it's a price decrease right? Sounds like a good deal to me.

  10. Comment - You don't have to wait for Windows 8

    7.1.8 (Jul 7, 2011 - 9:29 AM)

Read much? "it makes Windows 7 look and feel just like Windows 8"
