  1. Review - FlashGet

    1.81 (Jan 20, 2007)

I have set FlashGet to use just 1 part when downloading.

Guess what, under the "Num" column, it shows 13/1 and that 13 will continue to rise like crazy.
How can it exceed that 1???

The authors of this software better fix this bug.

  2. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows

    3.0 Alpha 1 (Dec 9, 2006)

Please upgrade your ancient dinosaur age OS for goodness sake.

You cannot expect developers to continue to support old OS forever???

  6. Comment - Alcatel-Lucent Victory in MP3 Dispute Signals Trouble for Digital Audio

    2.22 (Feb 24, 2007 - 10:15 PM)

Microsoft being the dominant operating system maker should just stop mp3 playback capability in their O/S immediately; release a critical patch for it.

That will cause a great slump to that format and very soon everyone will move to alternatives, perhaps to non-patented formats like Ogg Vorbis.

    End node:
As much as Microsoft hates being in such a situation, I hope they do not threaten the open source community with something similar.

    Say NO to software patents!

Start converting your mp3 to ogg vorbis!!!

MS Office is not free but it's format is open and a standard?

When will MS make an official .NET runtime for Linux?
    I wonder...

  8. Comment - PayPal Blocks Hurricane Relief Funds

    2.22 (Sep 5, 2005 - 11:46 AM)

    A bit off topic...

I live in Malaysia. Paypal was stubborn to offer services to my country last time, but they do offer to Malaysia's neighbour: Singapore.

Now, they do allow Malaysians to signup but there is no direct way to send the cash to a local bank in my country. This means all money earned from my paypal account will be stuck unless I use it to buy something.

    Sad...

They said "CD burning is a problem that is really undermining sales".

So people will be going for DVD burning instead... hahahahaha
