    comments about version 3.2.x aren't fair, as the link was for a beta only for vso's forum users, all problems are fixed in the version 3.0 , no freeware handles the subtitles as ConvertXtoDVD does now, and you can't compare ressources needed for a video converter with office suite ! compare a mustang to a SUV for off-track capability !

    I think people who says than WinAvi and DVDSanta didn't really test or they have sight issues.
    WinAVI is faster, but the quality is not good at all ( test with a HD TV show for example ) and the features are not so complete ( subtitles support for exemple ). DVDSanta is a nice application with several features, but it doesn't support as many cases ( at least for me ) and it is not very stable. About the burning I didn't experience any problem, I mainly do TV Shows to DVD and I am using double layer media. I like the new DVD menu features something which doesn't exist in the other products mentionned earlier.

    or you probably don't copy any new games if you are saying that clonecd is working 98% of the time.
