  1. Review - x64 Components

    3.1.6 (Oct 20, 2011)

I am really worried now, I have been using this for two years using most updates and weekly scan with comodo and malwarebytes, and they have never found anything. Must be pretty potent stuff if it's not detected. Please educate what scanner can find evil shark spyware so I can get rid off this.

  2. Review - Comodo Internet Security (32-bit)

    3.5.54375.427 (Oct 29, 2008)

does this even include a spyware module?

  3. Review - Blaze Media Pro

    8.0 (Mar 18, 2008)

What's new with this version? Strange that there is no upgrade option.

  4. Review - K-Lite Codec Pack Full

    3.5.9 Beta (Dec 12, 2007)

I never got this to work on XP. The only codec pack that really seems to work is cole2k ... too bad it hasn't been updated since May.

  5. Review - Microsoft IE Automatic Component Activation Preview (Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP 32-bit)

    1.0 (Dec 12, 2007)

I do not see the advantage of this. ActiveX has a reputation of being malware, and is blocked by the firewall anyway. Why would anyone want to remove the warning?

  7. Comment - Google is right to demand people use real names

    1.0 (Jul 28, 2011 - 10:24 PM)

What's a a "real" name and "daily life" anyway. I would think that for many people this may just be their online persona(s) that they are most known by. Or is everyone supposed to submit a birth certificate? Enough people out there who have dozens or hundreds of facebook accounts that happily befriend each other and create their own realities, where unknowing outsiders can be sucked into - but whey should this be an issue anyway.

  8. Comment - Could 70 percent of you be running Windows 7?

    1.0 (May 29, 2011 - 12:08 AM)

I am surprised that betanews can not read their server stats which may be collecting information on OS and browsers used by people who are accessing their site.

  9. Comment - Docs.com: The surest sign yet of Microsoft's defeat

    1.0 (Apr 22, 2010 - 3:55 PM)

This is BS. The main market for Office is large organizations that probably spend more on MS licenses than on the hardware that runs it. I seriously doubt that any organization that deals with confidential information will move toward virtual productivity applications anytime in the next decade. Many block facebook and other social networks as they distract employees.

  10. Comment - Microsoft fixes Windows: Automated troubleshooter encourages assistance

    1.0 (Apr 19, 2010 - 3:02 PM)

I have been using Win7 for a few months now and had only few issues, such as wireless not connecting and some random re-boots. The troubleshooter has NEVER found a solution for ANY of the issues I had encountered.
