4.3 RC (Jul 1, 2009)
This is nothing more than a cheap rip-off of Mac OS X and KDE 4.x doesn't even work properly most of the time. The latest stable version of Gnome is specifically designed for power users while being easy enough to use for less tech savvy people. Too bad KDE 4.x can't be this good. I give KDE two stars because it looks nice. At least the developers got something right.
3.0.0.49051 Beta 2 (Jun 28, 2009)
Awful software. I installed this under Mac OS X 10.5.7 on my Mac Mini (Early 2009) computer. When I tried to use 64-bit Windows 7 RC Build 7100 the Windows Experience Index test couldn't be completed because for some strange reason Windows couldn't measure Windows Media Playback. This effectively prevents Aero Glass from ever running. Hopefully the next beta will fix this. In the mean time I'll have to check out Parallels.

Finally, full EFI support for AMD64 platforms. There's still no Linux distribution that can hold a candle to Mac OS X. Mac OS X has better graphics than every Linux distribution and is much more stable. It is harder to crash Mac OS X than any other operating system.

This is the best ways to take advantage of hardware acceleration from AMD and Nvidia. It's too bad that certain graphics card manufacturers like Sapphire disable AMD's amazing video processing on their graphics cards. The crappy built in DVD player in Windows Vista and Windows 7 fails every single test on the Silicon Optix benchmark DVD.
9.5 (May 18, 2009)
There are no 9.5 drivers available on AMD's website for Vista or Windows 7. The latest ones posted are 9.4 drivers. Not sure where Betanews got their information from.

@PC_Tool - Actually the AV tests that you and others posted links to simply indicate that Mcafee and other AV software have finally caught up to Symantec's antivirus software in terms of accuracy and performance. Of course it would help if the AV tests would post the version numbers that consumers see on the box instead of the version number manufacturers use internally. In any case, Symantec NAV 2010 will probably surpass its competition once again like it always has with every single version ever created.

Symantec Norton Antivirus is the only way to keep a desktop computer protected from viruses. The other desktop antivirus products are just some cheap, crappy software someone slapped together. Mcafee is by far the worst and least accurate out of all of them.

I guess some people aren't smart enough to realize that Canada is another country or perhaps they don't realize that nationwide means "in the nation of the USA" in this case. If you use a USA cell phone service outside of the USA for voice or data service you will be charged massive amounts of money. This is not robbery, theft, false advertising or misleading terms of service and it is perfectly legal for any cell phone carrier. Customers need to be more careful so they don't get these massive phone bills.

@rebradley - Hardware support for Mac OS X is more limited than for Windows, but not as limited as you seem to think. Go to www.efi-x.com.

People don't know what they're missing. Snow Leopard is the best desktop OS that has ever been created. Windows 7 can't hold a candle to it. I would love to hear some of the things that Windows 7 can do better than Snow Leopard. I highly doubt there are any.
