3.3.0 RC10 (Jan 19, 2011)
Releasing an RC6 was bad enough - TEN Release Candidates means a serious problem with development and testing. As others have mentioned, they should have reverted to beta status - call it 3.3.1 Beta 1.
Myself, I wouldn't even TOUCH 3.3.0 Final after all this; I'd wait for 3.3.1 anyway...
13.09 (May 27, 2010)
I remember Epsilon from my university days...
$250 for a license seems ridiculous for an editor with an outdated UI and features matched by many other editors (both free and shareware).
If you want/need Emacs, there are Windows ports available, for free.
1.11 (Feb 11, 2010)
The Windows Calculator applet, standard with all version of Windows, has far more functionality.
1.0 (Jul 6, 2007)
According to the README, this plugin supports Office 2000 as well as XP/2003/2007 - great news as we never wanted/needed to migrate past Office 2000!
5.23 Build 666 Beta (Aug 11, 2011 - 5:59 PM)
Unfortunately those ISO's only contain that month's release; they are not cumulative, so you're still dealing with potentially dozens of ISO's. Also, many of the hotfixes are superseded by later hotfixes.
Since Windows Update can do it, Microsoft should be able to leverage that update database to create some kind of roll-up ISO without a problem!
5.23 Build 666 Beta (Mar 11, 2011 - 2:47 PM)
My JVC MiniNote (effectively a pre-Netbook) is nearly 8 years old, has traveled with me by car and plane, and is still running strong - it's not going to last forever but I certainly feel it's been an excellent investment.
In your case, you have had THREE laptops (high end models I see) in less than three years - so far that's an average lifespan of under a year. Based on past experience, do you believe this new laptop will last longer than the previous two? By any standard, you're using a defective computer.
5.23 Build 666 Beta (Feb 9, 2011 - 5:44 PM)
Perhaps I'm overly cynical, but WinTPC as described above sounds like yet another MS effort to discourage users from trying out Linux (particularly Ubuntu) on those older computers...
5.23 Build 666 Beta (Sep 10, 2010 - 1:45 AM)
This whole app store review process must be a huge disincentive to develop for iPhone, especially for smaller developers: Are you going to risk the time, money and effort to develop an iPhone app only to have it rejected by App Store's reviewers?
Shouldn't it be up to the consumers (iPhone owners) to decide (with their wallets or downloads) whether your App is "worthy" to be on their iPhone?
After all, one person's "crap" is another's "must-have"...
5.23 Build 666 Beta (Jul 25, 2010 - 12:23 PM)
"Open the car door HAL"
"I am sorry Dave, I cannot do that."
