  1. Review - Norton Utilities

    15.0.0.122 RC5 (Feb 5, 2011)

Installed on a 64bit Win 7 Machine. Ran 1 clean. Wound up reformatting the machine.

That's what I get for "beta" testing an alleged "beta" Symantec product.

  2. Review - Recuva

    1.22.384 (Dec 30, 2008)

Tight program and have been using it for awhile. They also make CCleaner which is awesomeness.

  3. Review - RealPlayer for Windows

    11.0.0.477 (Nov 7, 2008)

Terrible. Bloaty, phones home without permission. Slow. Why is this thing still around?

  4. Review - CCleaner for Windows

    2.12.660 (Sep 29, 2008)

Have been using this since Feb 08 I think. Awesome, awesome and awesome. Nice to see the added support for Chrome. Zero complaints. Fantastic program.

  5. Review - PDFCreator

    0.9.6 (Sep 20, 2008)

Vista support should be updated. Nice program albeit a tad on the big side.

    I second Kashin's sentiments

  7. Comment - Confessions of a Windows 7 to Ubuntu switcher

    0.9.6 (Aug 16, 2010 - 2:51 AM)

This is the silliest most ill documented "article" I have ever seen on Beta News.

I really think we ought to stop commenting on Joe's "articles," perhaps then whoever is running the show here would take the hint that an overwhelming majority of its readers consider Joe nothing more than an inept troll who would rather polarize than write something of substance and meaningful to his readers.

  8. Comment - Apple closes PDF flaw in iOS updates for iPhone, iPad

    0.9.6 (Aug 12, 2010 - 8:10 PM)

I wish they would have fixed the countless bugs instead like Bluetooths that used to work with the old OS and breaking with the new OS.

  9. Comment - Most Betanews readers won't buy iPhone 4

    0.9.6 (Jun 12, 2010 - 2:48 PM)

I had a 3G and just upgraded to a 3GS. I have no use for video editing or the video conferencing feature. The new iOS will run just fine on the 3GS with the multi tasking support. Good enough for me.

  10. Comment - Steve Ballmer IS the right man to turn around Microsoft mobile

    0.9.6 (May 29, 2010 - 3:43 PM)

After bungling Vista, Microsoft Windows 7 right, under Ballmer's supervision.

    Kinda....an incomplete sentence.
