Simplicity is what I look for in a search tool. This has it, and it works great. I would love to see some kind of integration with windows explorer, though. Am I wrong in thiking this would make a kick-ass toolbar?

Not as good as Opera or Firefox, but still better than NS 7.2 overall. The layout could use some work, too.

I was expecting worse, seeing how this *is* AOL, but it's not great, either. It's kind of a resource hog, so it feels kind of sluggish. I'm guessing it would be faster without the unnecessary desktop search, maybe? Anyway, the only things this really has going for it are the built-in bookmarklets and nice pop-up blocking.

All this program seems to do is freeze my computer so I have to restart manually (it even makes the sound of when it turns off). I'm sure it's probably a decent program if it works for your computer, but for my Dell Inspiron 8100, it's useless.

I've been using Opera since version 6.05 in 2002, when IE kept screwing up on me. Since then, I've used Opera for almost all of my browsing needs. While Mozilla and Firefox are good, I would recommend Opera for anyone who wants to customize the way their browser looks, and wants great functionality. Don't let the fact that it's adware steer you away.
