  1. Review - foobar2000

    0.7.7 (Jan 3, 2004)

this is getting kind of childish. voice your opinion about the program and then shut up. there's no reason to repeatedly try to drag it down if you hate it, or try to inflate it's rating if you love it. and yes i know i'm being hypercritical by rating again, but too bad!

  2. Review - Apple iTunes for Windows

    4.1.0.52 (Oct 17, 2003)

I was really looking forward to this program, and it failed to deliver. The first thing it did was wipe everything off my Ipod as it brilliantly synced with my empty music library.. and then proceeded to crash 4 times as I tried to add music to it.

  3. Review - AOL Instant Messenger 5.0 Ad Remover

    1.0.2867 (Jul 12, 2002)

Getting rid of the ad space while you're set away would be nice.. and also it'd be nice if you could make the buddylist smaller. 5.0's is just too freakin wide, it's ugly. Those are just things I'd like to see anyway, but so far this is nice.

  4. Review - AOL Instant Messenger for Windows

    4.8.2646 Beta (Jan 24, 2002)

I've been having problems with AIM since upgrading to XP Pro. Whenever I run it I get an error message saying Point of entry unknown, 'the procedure entry point DebugMemStats could not be located in the dynamic link library oscore.dll' Anyyone come across this error and/or know how to fix it? Compatability mode is a half-assed quick fix, the program crashes if you right click in a IM window.

  5. Comment - I gave away 7 Samsung Galaxy Tabs last night -- did you get one?

    4.8.2646 Beta (Jun 5, 2011 - 1:18 AM)

I have to agree that last nights Galaxy Tab event was way more effective at targeting potential users than paper advertising or even a commercial. Nothing sells a product better than getting to play with it hands on. And while I'm totally bummed that I didn't win one of the tabs or a phone, the pork sliders and chicken/waffle things were pretty tasty.

  6. Comment - How will the AT&T T-Mobile USA merger affect you?

    4.8.2646 Beta (Mar 20, 2011 - 9:26 PM)

    6. No more unlocking. T-Mobile has long provided customers unlock codes for their phones. The carrier recognizes that people travel and want to use local SIM cards. AT&T wants to sell subscribers costly roaming services instead. T-Mobile unlocks phones by request, and typically customers must own them for a few months first. I don't see AT&T unlocking T-Mobile subscriber handsets post merger.

This one is not necessarily true. I've had ATT unlock phones for me before. You have to call in and request it, and the process may take up to 2 weeks, but they will do it.

  7. Comment - Microsoft announces Office for Mac 2011: New UI, Web-based tools, no Entourage

    4.8.2646 Beta (Feb 13, 2010 - 1:49 AM)

The last version of Office for Mac was 2008. During Macworld 2010, Office for Mac 2011 was announced. But there is no Office for Mac 2010.

  8. Comment - Microsoft announces Office for Mac 2011: New UI, Web-based tools, no Entourage

    4.8.2646 Beta (Feb 11, 2010 - 1:54 PM)

Couple of typos it looks like Tim.. you keep going back and forth between Office 2010 and Office 2011.

  9. Comment - Why a Verizon iPhone wouldn't work (for Verizon)

    4.8.2646 Beta (Oct 10, 2009 - 12:14 AM)

i'm 99.99% sure that the percentage mentioned should be 4,932%
