NIS 2011 Has recovered very well from the 2008-09 problems. Best sotware out there and keeps getting better. Never a false detection for me or any other negatives for that matter.

I have tried nearly every other AV suite out there and wasted so much money trying to prove to myself which was the best. Before 2009 Norton was a little iffy but since NIS 2009 it has been terrific. I have friends call me all the time with virus or worm problems and they are always using some other AV other then Norton. If you can’t install it, then you don’t know what the hell you are doing in the first place! I just upgraded 5 systems in my home from NIS 2009 to NIS 2010 in about 30 minutes. There are people out there that love to hate Norton/Symantec and have Norton derangement syndrome. Get over it! When I have my first issue I will be the first to post it here, until then don’t trust your system to anyone else.

Sorry Joe, maybe you should have asked a seven year old to update yours. Mine updated fine with no problems. Just lucky I guess.
